OCEANS Sports & Entertainment was founded by CEO Shoto Zhu in 2006. Building on his prior experience with J-League and FIFA, Shoto landed Oceans' first major partnership as the sole marketing representative for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China. The company has expanded rapidly ever since, growing from a handful of employees to a team of 100-plus across 7 offices. In 2014 Oceans became the first sports marketing agency to IPO in the Beijing Stock Market, cementing its place as a leader in the Chinese sports industry.
OCEANS today provides a range of sports consultancy and representation services to leading sports properties and brands; while operating a range of it's own events and related IP in football (soccer), running, and tennis. In line with the rapid expansion of the China sports market, Oceans is also actively negotiating a host of new long-term IP and services partnerships.

OCEANS employs a multinational team of 100-plus staff across 5 offices in China, with satellite offices in Tokyo and Lausanne. Our diverse staff represents 6 nationalities and speaks in 10 languages, strengthening our relationships both globally and in China.
